Happy 2010! Here are some upcoming performances of note!

February 20, 8pm, Austin, TX--Austin Symphonic Band--Playing Alfred Reed's "Ode for Trumpet," written originally for trumpet legend Don Jacoby, and my arrangement of Lecuona's "Malaguena."

February 25 & 26, Talequah, OK-- Northeastern State University--Masterclass and recital. Check out the trumpet studio's website to see what Dr. Jason Dovel and his students are up to!

March 1-3, Durant, OK--Southeastern Oklahoma State UniversityMusical Arts Series--As part of the series, I'll be giving a recital, masterclasses, and perform with the Symphonic Band.

April 11, Austin, TX, 7:30pm-University of Texas, Austin, Recital Hall-DMA 2 Recital! Chuck Dillard (piano) and I will be playing Bloch'sProclamation, Thomé's Fantasie, a couple arrangements of Chopin and Moszkowski, and Torelli on baroque trumpet and harpsichord

April 13, Austin, TX, 7:30pm-University of Texas, Austin, Jessen Hall- DMA Lecture Recital. This and the subsequent defense are the last things I have to do to finish my doctorate. My lecture-recital will be on beginning baroque trumpet.

April 23 & 24, Edinburgh, TX--University of Texas Pan American--Recital and clinics in Edinburgh.
