February 13 & 14, TMEA, San Antonio, I'll be hanging out at the Sonaré booth, #125. I plan to be there Friday afternoon and some on Saturday, too.
January 2009: I am teaching as the sabbatical replacement professor for Texas State University trumpet professor Jack Laumer.
November 24, 2008, 8:00pm: If you're in Austin, I'm playing on the UT Early Music Ensemble Concert. I'm playing on two Scarlatti arias (Si suoni la tromba & Mio tesoro per te moro ) and also Torelli Sinfonia G. 8, probably written for Brandi, the famous Baroque trumpeter, with a small string ensemble. The concert is free, and at the UT Recital Studio. You can webstream it here.
October 20, 2008: As you may or may not know, I'm at the University of Texas in Austin. I'm playing in the Wind Ensemble right now, and we have a concert this Sunday, October 26, at 4:00pm Central time. You can webstream it live here by going to this website at 4pm Central time. The recording quality is really great, and the music this concert is very, very interesting.
October 9, 2008: I have just become a Sonare artist! I'm really excited about my new Sonare B-flat trumpet, and it works out really well that they were interested in me being on their artist roster. Check out their website and my Sonare artist page here.
